Lea Wood visit

Rainbows travelled to Fairford to explore the fabulous Lea Wood. The children had asked the questions; what lives in the wood? why do trees grow so high? and why are the leaves different shapes?

The Rainbows were really excited to find lots of different (toy) animals on a walk around the wood. They listened carefully to the information about the animals and plants that live in the wood. After lunch we found little hedghogs who needed winter nests building for them. The Rainbows worked in teams to create cosy nests for their hedgehogs to hibernate in.
