Walk on the Wild Side – Summer 2018

Well we’ve had an exciting start to our Summer term theme with a fabulous visit to Cotswold Wildlife Park today! It was brilliant to see all the very active animals and we had a very interesting and informative talk about ‘Animals of the African Savannah’. We were extremely proud of how well-behaved all the children were and everyone seemed to have a fantastic time! A big thank you to all our parent helpers as well! Check out our photos below for a few highlights.

Our theme this term will be focusing on, of course, animals – those found in Africa and the UK. We will be exploring life in our school grounds where we often find lots of minibeasts! We will be particularly exploring the different animal groups and their habitats.

We’ll also be finding out about life in Africa, in comparison to life here in the UK and are looking forward to a talk from Mr Ferguson in the coming weeks about his experiences in Kenya!

We will keep you posted with photos and news on all the exciting things we learn about as the term goes on.
