We are very excited to announce our Spring Term theme is ‘Once Upon a Time’! We will be using lots of different skills, especially how to be a good Historian, when researching all about Castles and life in the Medieval and Tudor times. We will also be learning all about Traditional Tales (which often begin ‘Once upon a time….’) as part of our English over the next few weeks.
We started our theme work with a fantastic workshop, run by the Freshwater Theatre Company’, which involved lots of drama, movement and fun! It was based around Castles and some of the different people that lived in Medieval Times. All the children thoroughly enjoyed it and we’re looking forward to lots more fun as the term continues!
