For our WOW experience day in the Autumn Term, we paired up with Class One to test out which forces are used to make our bikes, scooters or roller skates move!

The children had a fantastic time riding around the school playground on whichever mode of transport they brought in. As they were moving, they thought about whether they had to ‘push’ or ‘pull’ to make their equipment go!

They then drew diagrams, which they labelled, showing the different parts of their bikes, scooters or roller skates and recorded whether pushing, pulling or both forces were used.

It was a brilliant afternoon which both the pupils and the staff thoroughly enjoyed!
