This week Class 3 had a very important mission! They had to design and build a shock-absorbing system that would protect astronauts when they landed on the moon. This involved a lot of teamwork and creativity as well as lots of fun with marshmallows! I was really impressed with all of their designs. We then went outside to test our landers. Each group had to drop their lander from a height onto a target. Their lander had to land softly on the target and they had to make  sure that their egg (astronaut) did not break!
