Welcome to Class 3’s Page!

This term, Class 3 are having a brilliant time learning about their new theme, ‘What Lies Beneath’!

We have looked at life in the Stone Age, hunting and gathering, making weapons and toasting food over a fire on our Stone Age day. We made model Stonehenges out of clay and cooked a Stone Age fruit stew.

We have studied volcanoes, what causes volcanic eruptions and earthquakes and written a newspaper report about the destruction of Pompeii by Mount Vesuvius.

We also had a brilliant trip to the Natural History Museum, looking at different rocks, fossils and dinosaurs in preparation for our work after half term.
