Welcome to our Class 3 page, where you will be able to see what we have got up to as the year progresses. Our first theme this year is:

Around the world in 80 days.

During this theme we will be reading the Jules Verne text of the same title, as well as travelling around the globe learning about our locality, Europe and the wider world.

Here we are in our geography detective groups following the trail to find out the capital cities of some European countries, it was great fun and kept us running about and working well as a team.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We found out that the largest European country is Russia and that the smallest is Vatican City.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We will be spending the first few weeks of the year getting used to being back in school after such and extended break, looking after our well being as well as checking that we are up to date with the learning we would have being doing in school at the end of Year 2.
