After experiencing what it was like in an Anderson shelter during our visit to Bewdley, we soon learnt how restrictive and claustrophobic a Morrison shelter could be. At the sound of the air raid siren, the children abandoned their lessons, diving into their Morrison shelters (under the classroom tables). Whilst in there, they imagined being in World War 2 during the Blitz, and used the experience to write a diary of their frightening experience, detailing their thoughts and feelings!
