To kick start our theme, Class 5 & 6 visited, ‘The Living Rainforest’ in Newbury. The enormous glass domes, were packed from floor to ceiling with a never-ending variety of stunning foliage. Hidden amongst the branches, the children located some of the vibrant creatures living within the environment, some were much harder to spot as they were camouflaged so brilliantly.

This visit was a superb experience of awe and wonder; the children were amazed and surprised at how large some of the leaves were (some big enough to be umbrellas) and at the huge variety in shades of green. What a wonderful day out!
