Class 5 and 6 enjoyed an educational day out to @ Bristol to assist their learning about the human body. As well as discovering many exciting and interesting facts about the body, the children also had the opportunity to explore the other exhibits around the centre; the bubbles and shadow activities were a real favourite!
Burning off calories on the treadmill!
Not liking the smell on this test!
Testing heart rate.
Relaxing in the womb!
How high can I jump?
We look a little shorter!
Bubbles large enough to fit in.
A very wonky floor – difficult to keep balance!
Forming shadows in style.
A group shadow formation.
Watching electricity travel.
The science show and workshops were superb:
Making our own toothpaste.
How the digestive system works.
Igniting sugar to show calories burning.
The area of skin on a human body!
How the circulatory system works.
