Welcome back everyone! Year 6 have had an amazing start to their new theme ‘Evacuate! Evacuate!’ with a fantastic trip on the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway, where the children were evacuated by steam train to the country.When we arrived at the station,  the children were greeted by ‘Farmer Wells’ who took them back in time to 1945 where they got to meet and speak to a real life evacuee, experience a mock Air Raid, arrest a German spy and work in teams to put out some fake fires. It truly was a memorable experience for all! We are now looking forward to applying all the fantastic knowledge we learned to our Diary writing.
