Class One have been very busy finding out the United Kingdom. They have used maps, atlases and information books  to find out about the different countries and the capital cities. The children have also been learning about  human and physical features  and were really keen to  explore the school grounds looking for the different features. They have all enjoyed learning about what plants need to grow and everyone planted a sunflower seed to take home to look after. The children have planted seedlings in our class planter and are learning how to look after them. Hopefully the plants will grow and the children will enjoy eating the strawberries and raspberries.
