Copsegrove Farm

Class One had a brilliant day at Copsegrove Farm. They were all very enthusiastic and participated in a wide range of activities. On our walk down to the wood the children learnt how to identify evergreen and deciduous trees. They also found out about what plants need to grow,  acted out the life cycle of a seed and became a living tree. Once in the wood they listened carefully as Kate explained how to keep safe by the fire and about the different places in the wood. The rest of the morning was spent identifying different trees, looking for human and physical features and setting a trail for the different teams. After lunch the children worked in groups to make clay troll faces, dens, a boat as well as making and eating wraps. IMG_1897IMG_1905 IMG_1907 IMG_1923 IMG_1928 IMG_1937 IMG_1939 IMG_1941 IMG_1944
