Everyone in Year One has settled into the new routines really well and we are all enjoying working together and learning to work as a team. 

Our theme this term is ‘All About Me’ and the children are busy finding out about their bodies . They will find out how to stay healthy and will explore how their bodies change as they grow. We all had great fun learning a skeleton song at the start of the term, as this also links to our class book ‘Funnybones’. The children have enjoyed acting out the story and have used actions to retell it. 

As well as being scientists and historians, the children are enjoying using their art skills to explore how to make different lines and to find out about primary colours.  We are having great fun singing new songs as well as learning to keep the beat through a range of different movements.
