On Thursday we were privileged to take part in a virtual field trip via Skype to a teaching farm in Kenya. We spoke to a farmer called Michael who showed us around his farm. We saw rabbits, chicks, goats and pigs. He also showed us some fruits and vegetables they grow such as strawberries, bananas, sweet potato and tomatoes. We were able to ask him questions about his job and Kenya. We were especially interested to learn about how they keep the lions and wild animals out with an 8 ft high fence around the farm. It was great fun and we learnt a lot.
