Welcome back to the new school year. 

Class 5 have come back after the summer holidays raring to go with their new theme ‘Jungle Fever.’ We have begun decorating our shared area with Jungle animal prints and leaves using oil pastels and sugar paper based on the artist Henri Rousseau. We used mark making techiques and vibrant colours to create a wonderful display. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We have already had our first visit to Copsegrove Farm where we have begun learning how to survive in the wild. We made solar stills for collecting water, made dens for shelter and foraged balckberries for food as well as cooking over the fire.
