Bussage Choir perform at Gloucester Cathedral

The children of Bussage choir were delighted to be able to sing at Gloucester Cathedral on Tuesday 17th November, as part of the Cathedral Junior Voices Project.

Three Gloucestershire schools per term benefit from the project, which was created to help develop singing and to help promote the enjoyment of group music-making, with the added benefit of being able to take part in a concert in a fantastic and famous Cathedral. As you can see from the picture above, there was not a spare seat available.

The children performed six songs; Consider Yourself, Do You Hear The People Sing?,  Electricity, When I Grow Up, Sing and With A Friend Like You.

The concert also included performances from the Cathedral Choir, the Cathedral Junior Choir and there was also an Organ demonstration.

The children sung fantastically, were very smart and a credit to the school. Most importantly they had a fantastic time and a unique experience that they can talk about for years to come.
